What is Speech and Debate?

The students are split into two groups and are asked to agree with or disagree with a given claim! They then work to refute each other and create counterarguments to apply in a debate-style discussion! The kids then finished off the conversation by weighing the impacts of each of their arguments to find the strongest arguments!
